Dr. Robert Cannis utilizes the computer-integrated Florida Probe®, which is the only "complete" system for periodontal probing and charting. With this technology, Dr. Cannis is able to detect and diagnose periodontal (gum) disease at an early, treatable stage.

 

There has been a significant increase in the knowledge, understanding , and treatment of inflammatory periodontal diseases over the past few decades. However, arriving at a diagnosis and determining the course of treatment still are based largely on basic clinical techniques, such as periodontal probing.
